A Legacy of Giving.
Through the years, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston has continued to raise the bar for supporting those in need.
In the late 1990's, the HPW Foundation was established in order to create opportunities for employees and sales associates to support charitable and non-profit organizations in their local communities.
In turn, the company provides matching funds, allowing individual contributions to make an even greater impact.
The HPW Foundation supports various not-for-profit organizations to benefit countless individuals throughout the Triangle and Central North Carolina.
Since its inception, the group has given almost $1 million to local charitable organizations.
Matching funds for a greater impact.
Our HPW Foundation provides matching funds to support our real estate agents' and employees' charitable giving and outreach efforts to make an even greater impact in our local communities. Over the past 20 years, the HPW Foundation has donated more than $1.4 million, thousands of personal supplies, gifts, and food to support local families and active military and veterans.

The HPW Foundation helps feed over 20,000 people each holiday season. For more than two decades, we've partnered with local charities, homeless shelters, and churches to donate thousands of turkeys through our annual Turkeys for the Triangle fundraiser. This is a collective effort of our 900 agents and staff, who sell $5 raffle tickets during the holidays, with 100% of the proceeds going toward purchasing turkeys for those in need.
This year, we plan to distribute over 5,000 frozen turkeys to more than 100 local nonprofits, active military, and veterans for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since its inception, Turkeys for the Triangle has donated over 60,000 turkeys to provide holiday meals for more than 180,000 people.

When disaster strikes, families need immediate support to begin rebuilding their lives. The HPW Foundation responds quickly, providing emergency relief and long-term recovery assistance. We also make donations as needs occur to assist families affected by natural disasters, including hurricane and flood damage.
Our commitment to disaster relief extends beyond immediate aid. We work to ensure families have the resources they need to recover and rebuild stronger than before. For example, in 2005, the HPW Foundation gave over $100,000 to assist with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
