  • Plates Neighborhood Kitchen - 301 Glenwood AVE Suite 100, Raleigh, NC
    Plates Neighborhood Kitchen is a fantastic option for brunch, lunch, dinner or catering at your next event. The menu is inspired by Chef Jake Wood's recipes he grew up with and classic southern dishes. His recipes plus the locally sourced ingredients are sure to delight your tastebuds. Besides the tasty, local food, the restaurant features many events and weekly specials, guaranteed to keep you coming back for more.  

  • Irregardless Café - 901 W. Morgan St., Raleigh, NC 27603
    Opened in 1975, Irregardless Café was well ahead of the curve on the farm-to-table movement. Irregardless was Raleigh's first vegetarian restaurant, incorporating progressive ideas such as waste recycling. Along the way, they have gradually added seafood, chicken, and beef to their menu to serve fresh, healthy and innovative dishes "for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike." Irregardless is open for lunch Tuesday through Friday and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Be sure to check out their calendar of live music nightly.

    Looking for a spot to enjoy a romantic dinner for two after a day of viewing Raleigh homes for sale? The casual but intimate ambiance and creative cuisine at Crawford and Son fit the bill. Seasonally changing menus feature dishes such as scallop tartare, chicken confit, and zucchini bread pudding. One thing all customers agree on: save room for one of the desserts, which are as beautiful as they are tasty. Hours are 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and reservations are recommended.

    Pompieri Pizza
    has been demonstrating how a staple of casual dining can be elevated to fine dining with quality ingredients. Their thin and crispy Neapolitan-style pies include the Barry White, a vegan pizza with a white cashew and garlic sauce, and the Pork Belly. More than 80 percent of Harvest 18's food is sourced from local farms, ranches, and fishmongers not far from Durham homes for sale, with many dishes prepared in the signature wood-fire grill. Harvest 18 is open for lunch and dinner daily, with weekend brunch until 3 p.m.
