There is a saying, "I didn't grow up in the South, but I'm sure glad I got here as soon as I could!" Well, I couldn’t agree more. My husband, Jeff and I moved, along with our four children, from New Jersey to Cary in 2010. In all honesty, I wish we had made the move sooner.
The entire Triangle area is an incredible place to live, so, it should come as no surprise that its real estate market is one of the hottest in the nation! Those of us who live in the Triangle, know that we are the home to North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Duke University. This means more than just top-notch academics but exciting sporting events, too! My family enjoys attending the local university soccer and football games. North Carolina’s State University System is incredible and I'm proud to say that three out of four have attended in state universities.
Our weather includes mild temperatures in the winter months but we still enjoy the change of seasons. This means our lives are centered around the outdoors so porches and sidewalks are common in most of our communities. My boys are able to participate outdoors in their club soccer programs, year-round and my girls competed in the local swim meets. As a family, we enjoy the greenways and tobacco trail that link our communities and provide miles of enjoyment for walkers, bikers and runners.
I am a Villanova graduate with degrees in Biology and Psychology and a Masters in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University. My career as a physical therapist has taught me the importance of hard work, communication, trustworthiness and integrity, which are necessary elements in the real estate profession. I am a creative individual at heart, with a love for interior design and a long time passion for restoring and refinishing antique furniture and vintage finds which I’ve developed into a business.
Having rehabbed two older homes before moving into a brand spanking new home in the Triangle, I’ve developed a keen eye for the potential some homes hold, that not everyone may recognize.
I look forward to helping you learn more about the Triangle and finding your new home!

When you hire Diane to sell your house, you're not just getting a resourceful realtor. You're getting the whole Diane Network, which includes a top-notch interior designer, inspector, painter, carpet installer, HVAC tech, and attorney. As Diane puts her Network to work for you, she stays mindful of your budget and goals. We should know: she sold two of our houses--with strong financial gains. Both of our houses sold on the first weekend, far above the asking price.
Words I would use to describe Diane:
Warm: she treats you like family
Strategic: she perceptively reads the market
Organized: she keeps things moving...with no loose ends
We strongly recommend Diane as a Seller's agent. But she is equally effective as a buyer's agent. If you are considering Diane to help you buy a house, please see my buyer's review on her website.
We've had three successful experiences with Diane, and we look forward to working with her again in the future!
My husband and I have bought and sold many homes. We have high expectations from a Realtor. Diane continually met and exceeded our expectations. Diane has a strong knowledge of the market and Triangle area. She is highly professional and organized. Diane makes sure all dates, timelines, promises, and commitments are tracked and met. She is a strong communicator and highly effective project manager. Ms. DiGirolamo was pleasant and easy to be around. She was open to our ideas and decisions. She adjusted as we needed. She stuck with us until we got what we set out to obtain. She is extremely positive and realistic and takes her profession seriously. Whether you are buying or selling, you will find Diane to be refreshingly honest and straight forward. Go with the pro, you won't be disappointed.M J
Diane DiGirolamo has been an outstanding real estate agent and not only did she make the purchase of our new home a pleasant and professional experience, she also made our transition from New York to North Carolina easy and exciting. Diane first helped us to rent a townhouse and less then a year later with her knowledge and commitment to our happiness helped us to purchase our first home. I am happy to call her not only our realtor but a dear friend.Joe & Kelly
If you're looking for a good realtor, please do not pass up the opportunity to contact Diane DiGirolamo or the Triangle Real Estate Chix Team. I was a first time home buyer. I'm a 28 year old, single guy that was looking to buy a home and I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into or how difficult the whole process would be. To be completely honest, I probably still don't because Diane made the whole process of buying a home so terribly easy and painless. I can't thank them enough. From our initial meeting of purchasing a home she made it look easy to finding out my needs, my timeline, my budget, loan options and then all the way to closing on a house. All I had to do was call or text her and she took care of everything. I'm still wondering how I ended up with the house that fits me and my lifestyle perfectly. If a friend of mine asks how difficult buying a home is usually I say, "I have no idea how it normally goes because I had the best agent in Raleigh". She's kind, knowledgable, teaches well, works hard, enjoys her job. Diane's effective, loves getting people in their dream house, and genuinely cares about you as a person and the needs that you have. If you want to buy a house in Raleigh or the Triangle, please do not pass up giving this team a call -- you'll be missing out on a great home buying experience. Diane the best realtor in Raleigh, NC. The Triangle Real Estate Chix Team is the best real estate company in Raleigh and the Triangle. Period. Thank you, Diane :)Tyler
As a home seller, it can be extremely nerve racking with thoughts about pricing our home properly through all of the details in selling the home. Diane was a fantastic in explaining the process, walking us through each step, and providing expert recommendations and realistic and open guidance. Diane had a well-thought out perspective on the value of our home that other realtors, who were generally looking for a quick sale in this hot market. The associates Diane recommended to get our home prepared made the process easy, affordable, and timely. Very professional and excellent knowledge of the area and market.N Borisow
