Downtown Apex also plays host to a number of seasonal celebrations and fun festivals throughout the year including its annual PeakFest and Peak-a-Palooza. The Peak City Pig Fest is one of the area’s most notable events attracting more than 28,000 people to the heart of the town to sample award-winning barbeque, enjoy live music and stroll the city streets with friends and family. 

Halle Cultural Arts Center on North Salem Street is another draw featuring a 150-seat theatre, three art galleries and studio classroom. Visual art exhibits rotate throughout the year showcasing work by area students alongside professional pieces.
